The Banbury Garden Party is the place to be on Saturday 28th August, everyone is welcome to what promises to be a fantastic family day out to help us celebrate the launch of the Experience Banbury Website.

Join in the fun from 10am to 4pm, in the Market Square and around the town. The organisers, together with Banbury FM will be there together with Balloon and Face Painting artists. Our wonderful traders within the town are getting into the spirit of the event and providing opportunities to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Visitors will have the opportunity to take the weight of their feet on deckchairs placed around the town.

As well as the usual excellent selection of venues, additional facilities and special offerings are being provided, with free entertainment and fun activities.

Tea and coffee will be available at St Mary’s Church and Shelia’s Shakes have created a special Ban-berry ice-cream, just for the occasion.

There are fantastic prizes to be won such as a superb family bowling & food prize for a family of 4 at The Banbury Bowl, vouchers to spend at Shelia’s Shakes and for anyone who has ever fancied brewing, bottling and labelling their own beer, the experts at Hook Norton Brewery are offering a prize to do just that.

The event also complements the ongoing Castle Quays Waterside Event, celebrating the rejuvenation of the Canal and Waterside development.
