Ahead of the Festive Lantern Parade on Saturday 20th November, Castle Quay will be hosting a day of free creative lantern making workshops in the former GAP unit, opposite Customer Services and Lock29, on Saturday 13th November.
This provides a fun, free opportunity for Banbury families to join in and have a go at creating their very own wintery lantern a week ahead of the Festive Parade on Saturday 20th November at 5:00pm.

We will be hosting two sessions, one between 11:00 – 13:00 and another at 13:30 – 16:00. Both sessions have limited slots to participate and we advise booking sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

On Saturday 20th November, come back and collect your finished wintery lanterns from the Banbury Festive Lantern Parade.
You’ll be joined by an awesome band playing some seasonal tunes and two cheeky elves as we make our we through Castle Quay and take a short walk around Banbury, leading to the big finale on the Old Corn Exchange (Cornhill) in Market Place where the first viewing of this year’s Festive Light Show will be shown.
