Join us on the 9th of December to ‘light up Banbury’ with Banbury Bid’s Lantern parade.

Meet us at 4.30pm with your Lantern’s at the information point located in the Castle Quay.

At 5.00pm the Lantern parade will begin, leading the route will be the NOA drummers. Afterwards there will be an opportunity to purchase hot drinks a sweet treat and a festive tipple that you can enjoy whilst joining in with some Christmas carols which are being performed by the Warriner Choir.

Planned Route – Castle Quay, down to Bridge Street exit, across Bridge Street and up the High street, passing through Church Lane onto Parsons street down towards the Market Place where the parade will finish.

Lantern Workshops – Don’t worry if you haven’t got a Lantern we are providing workshops which are supported by the Castle Quay on the 2nd & 3rd of December, where you can make and decorate your own lantern at the cost of £2.00.
