Queen’s Jubilee – The Big Lunch!

As part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee we are looking forward to welcoming 1000 primary school-age children* (5-11) to join The BIG Lunch in Banbury Town Centre.

Taking place in the historic Market Place 12noon – 2pm it will be a memorable occasion for everyone taking part.

Places must be pre-booked but are FREE. Use the below form to book your child’s place. If you are booking more than 1 ticket, the form will need to be filled out individually each time. 

Please note; that all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 

How it’ll work on the day:

1. Responsible adult to visit the Banbury Town Council Gazebo. The team will need to know your child’s full name and they will then issue a ‘Placemat’.
2. Take your child/children and find somewhere to sit, and put the ‘Placemat’ directly onto any table in the Market Place. There is no set seating plan so go wherever you fancy, but the benches are just for children. 
3. Volunteers will deliver pre-packed lunch bags out into the Market Place as per the variant of lunch that has been pre-ordered. PLEASE NOTE: As the responsible adult you must check that the correct lunch has been issued to your child, especially if there are any known allergies/ intolerances. All items within the bag will display their ingredient content.

*Tickets are limited to a first come, first served basis. Bookings will close at 10:00 on Friday 27^th May 2022 or before if the capacity is reached. If you have any questions please contact us.
